Dr. Vimalkumar has built a distinguished career through his commitment and passion for the field of Dentistry. Dr Vimal honed his skills under the guidance of a mentor at a prestigious clinic in Kannur India and went on to have his own practice in Chennai India. Before moving to Dubai. Along with his practice he worked as a professor in the department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Bharat University and Dr MGR Medical university India.
Dr Vimal Kumar moved to Dubai in 2011 he practiced as specialist oral medicine at prestigious clinics in. Jumeirah lake towers, Umm Hurrair and palm Jumeirah before starting his own practice. He also continued his passion for teaching by working as an adjunct faculty in The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Ajman University UAE till 2020
With over 20 years of experience in general dentistry Dr Vimalkumar in his pursuit to provide quality dental care to his patients, started frontline medical center in 2016.At Frontline medical center he enjoys recreating his patients smile with a gentle touch. He believes in giving his patients a painless and comfortable experience.
His Passion for Oral medicine has led him to tailor a comprehensive oral cancer screening by systematic visual oral examination and imaging techniques to detect the disease in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. A positive screen includes both oral cancer and oral potentially malignant disorders. He provides medical management for oral potentially malignant disorders like Leukoplakia, Oral Lichen Planus, Oral Submucous fibrosis and Non healing Ulcers by combining medicine and laser therapy. His areas of expertise also include TMJ disorders and Oro facial Pain Management.
